Hello friends! We hope you're as excited as we are for the unboxing of Milton's February Pupbox! Each month, we receive a box filled with goodies which includes 5-7 full sized items, like treats, toys and training material. Milton has been receiving these boxes since she's 2 months old, and she gets SUPER excited each time there's a new one. In this box, we got a great assortment of things. First thing is a mini donut toy from Zippy Paws. Milton is so obsessed with this toy! It squeaks, it rattles, it has no stuffing, and it's durable. Plus, it looks so cute! Next, we got Health Soft & Chewy Dog Treats from Isle of Dogs, made from blueberries and apples! The girls love these treats. But then again, the girls love ANY treat or ANY food (even non food). What we usually look for in treats, is high quality ingredients, that are made in Canada or in the USA that don't have any (or a lot of) by products and added chemicals. These treats specifically are a little large for Milton, so I would suggest you cut them up in smaller pieces before giving them to your puppy. Next is the Starmark Treat Ringer Light Bulb. This is a toy that helps prevent destructive boredom behaviors and is made of durable nylon. You can also use treats that you have at home, and arrange the treats in the toy differently to adjust the level of difficulty. We also got some refills of the treat rings for the toy. We tried this toy out a few times with Herky & Milton, but Milton seems to not grasp the concept of this toy much. She would usually bark at the toy, or claw around it, and only really licks the treats when I hold it up for her. Plus, she gets SUPER possessive of this toy, and very territorial. She barks, runs after Herky and tries to bite her everytime this toy is out. So we try not to have this toy around too much. Last but not least is a meaty bone from Redbarn Naturals. A lot of different companies offer this type of treat for dogs and it's basically a bone that's slightly dried out. It has some meat residue on it, which makes it irresistible to dogs. Unfortunately, due to Herky's accident with antler chews, I stay away from anything too hard. Herky had a molar fractured and we needed to get her to surgery to remove that huge tooth.
