Tips on How To Keep Your Dog Cool
With the upcoming warmer days coming, it's important to keep in mind that some dogs need to stay comfortable with all the heat. Cavaliers, amongst others, are very prone to heat exhaustion and heat strokes. This list includes any dogs with a shorter snout, like pugs, bulldogs, boxers, boston terriers, pekingese.
These tips are easy, and can prevent some serious consequences for your beloved fur baby.
2- Use a Cooling Mat
These cooling mats are a recent discovery and are a life saver! Herky gets very very hot in the summer, and will usually lay down on our ceramic floors in the kitchen to cool down. Every since we got this, the girls both lay on it every time they're a bit hot. I also love to use a large size (L-XL), for both girls to use it at the same time.
