Unboxing August Pupbox
We're unboxing August Pupbox with Herky & Milton!
Pupbox is a monthly subscription box curated for your puppy, according to his or her age and weight. Although Milton is not a "puppy" anymore, we still receive these boxes. They don't contain training material anymore, but there's still so much fun. We love opening these boxes every month and discovering new products!
If you're interested in trying out Pupbox, we have a 15% off discount code. Use "MILTON" at checkout :)
First off this month is an ear cleaner from Kin+Kind. This is the second product we try out from this brand, and we love it! This brand focuses on natural products and everything is made in the USA. This product contains organic witch hazel, tea tree oil and aloe. It's very important to keep your pup's ears clean, especially if they flop over like Herky & Milton. I clean the girls' ears twice a week to keep infections away!
Thanks for reading us, we hope you loved this unboxing :)

April Pupbox unboxing & review
It's always exciting for the girls (and me) when we receive Pupbox in the mail. Is it just me, or is there something super thrilling about waiting and getting stuff by mail?
Each month, we get a box filled with goodies for Milton. Pupbox follows your pup's growth and development, and sends a curated box each month targeted for your pup's age. If you're interested in signing up, we have a coupon code, "MILTON", that you can use on any subscription to save 15%!
First toy we got is a Kong Puzzlement. I love Kong toys, especially the original Kong. They are known to be very durable and high quality. This toy is a puzzle for your pup, and you can customize the level of difficulty by tucking the bee inside the hive.
Next, we got some duck treats from My Little Wolf. These are grain free, have a low calorie content, and the girls love these. They are said to be made with over 25% real duck meat.
It seems that each month we get some sort of treats, and it's good to see how many brands offer grain-free products. These are great for your pups if they have allergies or intolerances. Or simply if you prefer giving your pup grain free treats and food :)
This is the Everlasting Groovy Ball from Starmark. This brand seems to offer a lot of challenging and puzzle toys, which is amazing! This toy had a giant chicken flavored treat on one end, and you can also add some treats in the other end to add to the fun. Milton is SUPER possessive of this toy and decided it was hers forever and ever.
It's also virtually indestructible therefore very durable. We've played with it for a few weeks now and I must say it is not destroyed so far. I can't say whether it's indestructible or not, though ;) We usually put some kibble in the toy and it keeps the girls distracted for a long time.
This is a very tastefully designed toy from Petprojekt, called Dogegg. It looks like something you could use as decor almost. It's a resistant toy that squeaks and wobbles. Very fun! Milton likes this one a lot. One con about this toy is that the material gathers a lot of dust, especially after the girls play with it.
This is the Magic Block and is intended to be used as a grooming tool. You can brush your dog, or use it to brush off fur from clothes, furniture, cars etc. I can't find it online anywhere, sorry! I brushed Milton with this, and I'm on the fence about it. It removes some fur, but it doesn't gather the fur in the block itself. It sort of brushes the fur off Milton, but you still need to pick up the fur from her afterwards. I haven't used it on furniture or car seats yet, but I think I'll be keeping this to try :)
We also got a pack of 100 all purpose wipes from Groom Genie. These are fantastic, since I use them multiple times a day. I always like to have some wipes around for the girls' paws, bums and faces. These are great to use to keep your pups clean, without having to shower them! I love that this is a 100-pack. I go through these very quickly, so now I have some extra to keep in the car.
Last but not least are the Doggy IncrediBubbles from PetQWerks. I wanted to do this with the girls this summer, so the timing is just perfect. I had seen some photos online of dogs playing with bubbles and thought it was the cutest thing. These are long-lasting, non toxic bubbles infused with peanut butter! They're odd, to be honest. I can actually hold a bubble on my finger without having it pop. Once it pops, it's a film-y, sticky texture though. The girls love the taste, but it can get messy. I would recommend playing with this outdoors.
Thanks for reading, we love you!
We hope you're as excited as we are for the unboxing of Milton's February Pupbox! Each month, we receive a box filled with goodies which includes 5-7 full sized items, like treats, toys and training material. Milton has been receiving these boxes since she's 2 months old, and she gets SUPER excited each time there's a new one.
In this box, we got a great assortment of things.
First thing is a mini donut toy from Zippy Paws. Milton is so obsessed with this toy! It squeaks, it rattles, it has no stuffing, and it's durable. Plus, it looks so cute!
Next, we got Health Soft & Chewy Dog Treats from Isle of Dogs, made from blueberries and apples! The girls love these treats. But then again, the girls love ANY treat or ANY food (even non food). What we usually look for in treats, is high quality ingredients, that are made in Canada or in the USA that don't have any (or a lot of) by products and added chemicals. These treats specifically are a little large for Milton, so I would suggest you cut them up in smaller pieces before giving them to your puppy.
Next is the Starmark Treat Ringer Light Bulb. This is a toy that helps prevent destructive boredom behaviors and is made of durable nylon. You can also use treats that you have at home, and arrange the treats in the toy differently to adjust the level of difficulty. We also got some refills of the treat rings for the toy. We tried this toy out a few times with Herky & Milton, but Milton seems to not grasp the concept of this toy much. She would usually bark at the toy, or claw around it, and only really licks the treats when I hold it up for her. Plus, she gets SUPER possessive of this toy, and very territorial. She barks, runs after Herky and tries to bite her everytime this toy is out. So we try not to have this toy around too much.
Last but not least is a meaty bone from Redbarn Naturals. A lot of different companies offer this type of treat for dogs and it's basically a bone that's slightly dried out. It has some meat residue on it, which makes it irresistible to dogs. Unfortunately, due to Herky's accident with antler chews, I stay away from anything too hard. Herky had a molar fractured and we needed to get her to surgery to remove that huge tooth.
